Frijj Sponsors Soccer AM
Given just nine days to deliver a sponsorship campaign for Frijj and Soccer AM, this one tested even D&E’s legendary creative turnaround times.
The Frijj milkshake’s tagline, “Thicker, Slower, Better” gave D&E the idea of inventing a suitably thick and slow new game to appeal to soccer fans – aka “Frijj football”. To create this novel sport we flooded a Scottish field with 75,000 gallons of water and played out a full match knee deep in the quagmire. We even brought along muddy referees, mascots and WAGs to complete the Premiership “Frijj football” experience.
It’s a game of two halves – the campaign was successfully refreshed twice over the year of the campaign.
