When winemaker Wolfgang Blass started producing his style of red and white wines he claimed they would “make strong women weak and weak men strong”!
The Wolf Blass brand, recognisable from their iconic “eagle” logo, had already built strong ties with sport, so there was a great alignment with Sportsline, Sky News’ daily highlights programme. D&E were tasked with devising the sponsorship campaign.
In our idents we see Sky sports footage viewed through the eye of the Wolf Blass eagle. We morphed between a real bird – shot with high speed filming of our beautiful stunt eagle, ‘Tilly’ – and the graphic Wolf Blass logo, delivering a passionate connection between the brand and the sport.
Tilly was a demanding actress, at one point in the shoot refusing to come down from the rafters, but the grace of her motion in flight made up for it all.
